One of the best perks of living at The Regency and The Villas is convenient access to our on-site dining that provides a variety of options throughout the day. Whether you’re in need of a quick snack on your way to class or want a relaxing dinner with friends, we offer you a large menu of quality, nutritious food.

WHERE TO EAT

The Atrium

The Atrium is The Regency’s all-you-can-eat dining hall. From chicken sandwiches, hamburgers, and grilled cheese sandwiches off the grill to handmade pizzas cooked up in the pizza oven, The Atrium is a great place to meet friends, relax, and refuel. Grab a hot or cold sandwich made fresh to your specifications at the deli station, or enjoy a tasty, made-to-order medley from the pasta station. Whichever you prefer, you’ll always find delicious, well-balanced meals.

Monday–Friday
Breakfast: 7–9 a.m.
Lunch: 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
Dinner: 5–8 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday
Brunch: 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
Dinner: 4–7 p.m.

The Rail

The Rail is The Regency’s convenience store that offers a choice of snacks, beverages, and toiletries. During the fall and spring semesters from Monday through Friday, you can also purchase a sack lunch.

Noon–midnight

MEAL PLANS

All Regency residents are required to choose from a variety of all-you-can-eat meal plans.

Meal plans are available during the fall and spring semesters only and include:

Access to The Atrium dining hall and a declining balance to spend for guest meals, as well as access to The Rail convenience store.

MEAL PLAN OPTIONS FOR FALL 2019 AND SPRING 2020 SEMESTERS (AUGUST 19, 2019–DECEMBER 13, 2019 AND JANUARY 20, 2020–MAY 16, 2020)

  • $1,895/Semester — 300 Meals/Semester + $200 Declining Balance — BEST VALUE (does not include sales tax)
  • $1,850/Semester — 250 Meals/Semester + $200 Declining Balance (does not include sales tax)
  • $1,695/Semester — 160 Meals/Semester + $200 Declining Balance (does not include sales tax)
  • $1,435/Semester — 120 Meals/Semester + $150 Declining Balance (does not include sales tax)
  • $1,230/Semester — 100 Meals/Semester + $100 Declining Balance (does not include sales tax)
  • $1,080/Semester — 80 Meals/Semester + $50 Declining Balance (does not include sales tax)
  • Villas Residents Only — $175 Declining Balance/Year (does not include sales tax).  You can select a larger plan if you would like!

Please note: Rules and regulations changed in 2018, so Sodexo’s meal plan semester prices no longer include sales tax. A state sales tax will be added to your meal plan at checkout. 

Prices are per semester, other than the Villas meal plan, and all meal plan payments are non-refundable. Any meals that are unused will not be refunded or transferred to another semester or individual. Meal plans that include a declining balance can be used at The Rail and on campus at select locations. This is not available until the meal plan is activated at the beginning of each semester.

The Atrium is closed during Auraria Campus’ winter and summer breaks. Meal plans are based on the number of meals served and residents have the flexibility to use the meals as they want during the semester.

Many hot/cold items are available to purchase from The Rail during all breaks when The Atrium is closed. A declining balance can also be added at any time to the resident’s account at the Sodexo website; please make out checks to Sodexo directly.

In addition to choosing from the deli, and pasta and sauté stations, a main entrée is featured during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Below are sample main entrees featured at The Atrium.

Grill — Banana Nutmeal Grilled Sandwich
Pasta — Tomato, Basil, and Grilled Chicken Penne
Lunch — Grilled Salmon or Tofu Tacos with Avocado Salsa, Quinoa Mixed Greens, and Fried Texas “Styx”
Dinner — Build Your Own: Bangkok Coconut Curry Bowls with Grilled Chicken or Tofu, Asparagus, Broccoli, Carrot, Yakisoba Noodles, and Red Curry Sauce; Served with Pot Stickers

TUESDAY

Breakfast — Egg, Ham, and Cheese Croissants
Grill — Pressed Cuba-Style Hamburgers on Bread with Pickles, Ham, Swiss Cheese, Dijon Mustard, and Garlic Aioli
Pasta — Zucchini Lasagna Boats
Lunch — Turkey Pho Dip Sandwiches on Ciabatta Served with Spicy Mayo, Hoisin, Bean Sprouts, Sliced Jalapeño, Cilantro Basil, and Pho Dipping Sauce
Dinner — Blackened Pork Tenderloin or Tofu, Mashed Maple Cinnamon Sweet Potatoes, Roasted Root Vegetables, and Cheese Corn Bread Muffins 

WEDNESDAY

Breakfast — Green Chili Egg Strata
Grill — Pesto Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Provolone
Pasta — Pesto Cream with Bow Ties
Lunch — Open-Faced Tuna Melts or Veggie Melts
Dinner — Roast Turkey Dinner with Mashed Potatoes, Stuffing, Green Beans, and Dinner Rolls

THURSDAY

Breakfast — Biscuits and Gravy
Grill — Grilled Veggie Quesadillas
Pasta — Skinny Mac ‘N Alfredo with Spinach Chiffonade
Dinner — Baked Chicken Bruschetta, Creamy Polenta, Zucchini Parmesan, and Garlic Rolls

FRIDAY

Breakfast — Breakfast Tacos with Scrambled Egg, Salsa, Bacon, and Cheese
Grill — Bacon Cheddar Burger
Pasta — Ravioli Bake
Lunch — Banh Mi Sandwiches with Pork, Marinated Cucumber and Onions, Slaw Mix, Sliced Jalapeños, Homemade Shrimp Rolls with Peanut Dipping Sauce
Dinner — Kung Pao Chicken or Tofu and Broccoli Stir Fry, Brown Rice
