Where to Eat

The Atrium

In the Regency’s all you can eat Dining Hall, The Atrium, you will find your choice of meals. From chicken sandwiches, hamburgers and grilled cheese sandwiches off the grill to handmade pizzas cooked up in The Regency’s pizza oven, The Atrium is a great place to meet friends, relax and refuel. Grab a hot or cold sandwich made fresh to your specifications at the Deli Station or enjoy a tasty medley made to order from the Pasta Station. Whichever you prefer you will find delicious, well-balanced meals at The Atrium.

Breakfast: 7am-9am
Lunch: 11am-2pm

Sat & Sun
Brunch: 11am-2pm
Dinner: 4pm-7pm

The Rail

In the Regency’s Convenience Store you will find your choice of snacks, beverages, and toiletries. During the Fall and Spring Semesters, you can also purchase a sack lunch to utilize a meal Monday – Friday.

Meal Plans

All Regency residents are required to choose a Meal Plan. Choose from a variety of meal plans, for whichever suits your appetite.

All meals are All-You-Can-Eat.

Meal plans are available during the Fall and Spring Semesters and include:

Access to the Atrium Dining Hall and a Declining Balance to spend for Guest Meals, and at The Rail Convenience Store.

MEAL PLAN OPTIONS FOR FALL 2017 AND SPRING 2018 SEMESTERS (AUGUST 21, 2017 THROUGH DECEMBER 16, 2017 AND JANUARY 15, 2018 THROUGH MAY 12, 2018).

  • 19 Meals per week, $100 Declining Balance per semester – $1,795 ($5.40 per meal – Best Deal)
  • 15 Meals per week, $100 Declining Balance per semester – $1,695 ($6.44 per meal – Great Deal)
  • 10 Meals per week, $100 Declining Balance per semester – $1,595
  • 7 Meals per week, $100 Declining Balance per semester – $1,395
  • 5 Meals per week + No Declining Balance – $995 per semester
  • Villas Residents Only – $175 Flex Plan – per year

Prices above are per semester, and all meal plan payments are non-refundable. Most meal plans include a $100.00 declining balance which can be used in the Rail or for guest meals.  This is not available until the Meal Plan is activated at the beginning of each semester.

The Atrium is closed during Auraria Campus’ Winter and Summer Break. Meal plans are based upon number of meals served. The resident has flexibility to use the meals as they want during the week. Each Sunday, the meals start over for the following week. If the resident is going to be away from the Regency, Monday-Friday, they may pick up a sack lunch in The Rail.

Many hot/cold items are available to purchase from The Rail during all breaks when The Atrium is closed. Declining Balance can also be added anytime to the resident’s account at this page or please make out checks to Denver Dining.

In addition to choosing from the Deli, Sal’z Grill, and Pasta & Sauté Stations, during Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner a Main Entree is featured. Below are sample Main Entrees featured at The Atrium:

Breakfast – Pigs in the Blanket
Grill: Banana Nutmeal Grilled Sandwich
Pasta: Tomato, Basil and Grilled Chicken Penne
Lunch – Grilled Salmon or Tofu Tacos with Avocado Salsa, Quinoa Mixed Greens, and Fried Texas “Styx”
Dinner – Build Your Own: Bangkok Coconut Curry Bowls with Grilled Chicken or Tofu, Asparagus, Broccoli, Carrot, Yakisoba Noodles and Red Curry Sauce. Served with Pot Stickers

Tues

Breakfast – Egg, Ham and Cheese Croissants
Grill – Pressed Cuba Style Hamburgers on Bread with Pickles, Ham, Swiss Cheese, Dijon Mustard and Garlic Aioli
Pasta – Zucchini Lasagna Boats
Lunch – Turkey Pho Dip Sandwiches on Ciabatta Served with Spicy Mayo, Hoisin, Bean Sprouts, Sliced Jalepeno, Cilantro Basil and Pho Dipping Sauce
Dinner – Blackened Pork Tenderloin or Tofu, Mashed Maple Cinnamon Sweet Potatoes, Roasted Root Vegetables and Cheese Corn Bread Muffins

Wed

Breakfast – Green Chili Egg Strata
Grill – Pesto Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Provolone
Pasta – Pesto Cream with Bow Ties
Lunch – Open Faced Tuna Melts or Veggie Melts
Dinner – Roast Turkey Dinner with Mashed Potatoes, Stuffing, Green Beans and Dinner Rolls

Thur

Breakfast – Biscuits and Gravy
Grill – Grilled Veggie Quesadillas
Pasta – Skinny Mac ‘N Alfredo with Spinach Ciffonade
Dinner – Baked Chicken Bruschetta, Creamy Polenta, Zucchini Parmesan and Garlic Rolls

Fri

Breakfast – Breakfast Tacos with Scrambled Egg, Salsa, Bacon and Cheese
Grill – Bacon Cheddar Burger
Pasta – Ravioli Bake
Lunch – Bah Minh Sandwiches with Pork, Marinated Cucumber and Onions, Slaw Mix, Sliced Jalapenos, Home Made Shrimp Rolls with Peanut Dipping Sauce
Dinner – Kung Pao Chicken or Tofu and Broccoli Stir Fry, Brown Rice
